ntroducing our Home-Br Flowerhorn (Cencu X SRD), a beautiful and lively addition to your aquatic family. This hybrid variety is a cross between the Cencu and Super Red Dragon (SRD) Flowerhorns, combining the best traits of both parents.

Our  Flowerhorns are known for their vibrant colors and distinctive hump, or “kok,” on their forehead. The hump is a sign of maturity and good health. Their body showcases a stunning array of colors, from fiery reds and oranges to deep blues and purples, making them a standout in any aquarium.

Keeping Requirements:

Flowerhorns are tropical freshwater fish that require specific conditions to thrive. They prefer a water temperature of 28-31°C (82-88°F) and a pH level of 6.0-7.5. A tank size of at least 55 gallons is recommended for a single Flowerhorn, as they need plenty of space to swim and explore.

These fish are omnivores and enjoy a varied diet of high-quality pellets, live food, and occasional vegetable matter. Regular water changes and a good filtration system are essential to maintain a clean and healthy environment.

Breeding Requirements:

Breeding Flowerhorns can be a rewarding experience. However, it requires patience and careful monitoring. The female will lay eggs on a flat surface, and the male will fertilize them. The parents will guard the eggs until they hatch, usually within 2-3 days. It’s important to provide a separate breeding tank to ensure the safety of the eggs and fry.

here are some tips to help you differentiate between male and female Flowerhorns:

  1. Wait for the Right Size: First, let your Flowerhorn grow to about 4 inches (10 cm) in length.
  2. Check the Anal Pore: Look at the anal pore of your Flowerhorn. If it’s shaped like a ‘U’, it’s a female. If it’s shaped like a ‘V’, it’s a male.
  3. Compare the Kok Size: The Flowerhorn kok is the bump on their head. Usually, males have a bigger Kok, while females have a smaller one.
  4. Look for Black Spots: Male Flowerhorns often lose their black spots as they become adults. Females tend to have more black spots on their bodies.
  5. Egg Tube and Laying Eggs: Adult female Flowerhorns will drop their egg tube during egg-laying time. They can even lay eggs without a male around.
  6. Fertilization: The female Flowerhorn can lay eggs, and the male can fertilize them
